The calamari is decent. It is way better than Panda. It is good if you are in a hurry. The staff is always pleasant.

This place is changing (lowering) their standards. A year ago the noodles were filled to the top.
1 year later it's barely half full with noodles at the same price, if not more expensive. Can't remember the prices a year ago. -

Good simple noodles and meat and veggies - sometimes I add extra veggies and always get it medium spicy.

I really wanted to like this place.
Happened to walk past this place on my way to the UPS Store the other day, and figured I'd stop by to get some dinner.
Was greeted cheerfully by the friendly Korean owner. I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and a beef teriyaki noodle plate to go. Paid about $16-17 and then I let the guy know that I'd be right back, after dropping off something at the UPS Store.
Came back a few minutes later and the food was just about ready to go. He brought the styrofoam to-go box towards this kettle and asked if I wanted teriyaki sauce. I said yes.
I had such a great experience inside the restaurant, because the owner was very engaging and made me feel like such a valued customer. He made you feel like you just made his day by visiting his establishment.
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Presentation was okay, but taste wise, everything was just meh. The chicken was dry and not very flavorful. The noodles were bland. I especially did not like the teriyaki "sauce" that was slathered on, which, like other reviewers have pointed out is more like a gravy.
As much as I wanted to support a local Mom and Pop place like this, I won't be returning. -

New owners. They changed some stuff. No more Sichimi Togorashi seasoning at every table (This was one of the reasons why I kept coming back) and when I asked about it there was basically no intention communicated about bringing it back in.
Sichimi Togorashi is a seriously common staple in Japan on 1 out of 3 family's tables, like salt and pepper here.
Teriyaki To Go was the only place in Roseville besides some sushi places that I could get some on my meal sprinkled on by me to my desired amounts.
Sam ran this place with so much care and attention for his customers.
Its not as good as before.
Its not on my radar anymore.
The sauce is still magical though.
Meh...
